Arriving in London he signed with manager John Wadlow (Seal, Peach..etc.) and secured recording and publishing deals with Warner Elektra Atlantic and EMI Publishing respectively. Mark was a prolific writer for EMI for several years thereafter. His songs written for Anita Lipnicka brought her album sales to very nearly 2 millions albums in Poland alone.
Bernardo Bertolucci discovered Mark during the making of Stealing Beauty and had him write a song (The Life) for the film. Many more tracks would find their way into numerous television shows in the U.S. as well as the UK dance charts as remixes.
However, it was the opportunity to write to film that sparked Mark's interest. During the time that followed in London,
Mark scored independent short films and documentaries for television, composing for the BBC, Channel 4 and The Discovery Channel.
Full feature film scores including Hotel Splendide (Toni Colette, Daniel Craig) for FilmFour/Canal+ and Teknolust (Tilda Swinton) as well as Independents West Wittering Affair and Fun, nominated for the Grand Jury Prize in the dramatic competition and awarded 2 Jury prizes for technical acting at the1995 Sundance Film Festival.
2006 brought Mark back to Los Angeles to score the indie feature, Two thirty 7 (aka: 2:37), two documentaries for television and Gus Van Sant's segment for the multi-director production 8 (aka: eight).
In 2009 Mark started a new association with Halfpipe Entertainment, where he is represented by Lee Scheinbaum.
